Alveena Prasad grew up in Fiji Islands as the youngest of three siblings before moving to the United States in 1999. Since then, she has made a home in California, pursued her passion for higher learning, and earned an Environmental Toxicology and Public Health degree from UC Davis.



Currently, as an Environmental Scientist for the state of California, she works to implement environmental laws, regulations, and policies that help protect the community and our precious natural resources, environment, and public health. Through her work, she strives to minimize the impact of human activities on the environment and promote sustainable practices that benefit both people and the planet. She is also committed to developing strategies and solutions to minimize these risks and promote a healthier world.

As an avid gardener, she finds joy in cultivating her little piece of nature in her backyard and nurturing the fruits and vegetables that often land on her dinner plate. In her free time, she loves to read, run, cook, travel, and explore new places, immersing herself in different cultures and landscapes. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her beloved cats, daughter, and husband.

With a deep commitment to environmental sustainability and a love for the natural world, she is dedicated to making a positive impact as an environmental scientist and realtor committed to positively impacting the world and the people around her.
